  Feeding Program   Pattaya Project
Train a child in the ways he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

As torch-bearer of this ministry, we run teacher-training camps every July and a massive country-wide spiritual encounter camp every October. God has given us the vision to bring children across Thailand into a deep and tangible encounter with Him. Children’s camps need to be heavily subsidized as not every child or every church can afford to pay the cost of transportation and board. Also, until our facilities are ready, the major bulk of the cost comes from renting large venues for this endeavour.

Weekend Feeding Programme for children in Teparak 4 Railway slum. We provide lunches to about 30 kids (from 3-12 yrs old) every weekend. On Saturdays this is followed by a 1.5hr English class. Meals and materials and textbooks for English lessons are funded by donations. The centre also serves the community by offering counseling and other community services to members of the community.

This is held at the Harvest Family Center (HFC). Most of the adults in this community collect recyclable items and have very little time to care for the needs of their children. On normal school days (Mon - Fri), their children get lunch from school. But on weekends, many of them go without lunch because their parents are out collecting recyclable items. Hence, we feed these children.

We have a new arm of the foundation that just opened this year in Pattaya. This ministry began to supplement and complement other ministries already established in Pattaya. We network with them and support them in areas of training and development.

The foundation recently acquired a 3 hectare plot of farmland to develop a training centre and campsite. We are currently in the process of raising some 1.5million SGD to develop facilities to hold camps and training, as well as provide a retreat centre for women who turn to Christ from the service industry in Pattaya before we reintegrate them back to society.

Every Wednesday and Thursday, we go to the prison and drug rehab centres in Khon Kaen to minister to the inmates. Many of these inmates have been disowned by their families and need fresh starts once they are released. Donations are used to buy necessities and clothes for the inmates as well as run special programmes for them on a weekly basis.

We do life-skills programmes at local schools and after-school village community programmes using Bibilcal principles where outright use of the scriptures is not possible. We also do enrichment and other tuition activities with them. We currently serve 2 areas and are looking to expand into other slum communities. We also do special programmes at schools in the local communities where possible
